Towards the Autonomous Building Ecosystem

The construction sector has traditionally underused innovation and technology, particularly in the digital domain. To identify and define the roots of this gap, the research starts from the relationship between digital technologies and building design and construction, intended not as a mere list of tools and methodologies, but as a way of identifying strategic directions and needs for the actors involved in the building process. The conclusion shows how advanced AI applications can positively impact the overall sustainability of the process and drive the optimisation of digital construction workflows.
