Younes Naime

Younes Naime is a PhD student at the Department of Civilization and Forms of Knowledge of the University of Pisa. The aims of his PhD project is the study of the feeding and exploitation of animal resources in Tuscany from the etruscan period to the post medieval age. His research started at the laboratory of zooarchaeology of the University of Salento with a thesis on the animal remains dated to the Norman period (12th century) and found in the Charles V Castle at Lecce. In these years he has been studying the animal samples coming from different archaeological sites (Italy, Tukey and Iraq) of different chronological periods, from the Neolithic to the post medieval age.
