Francesca M. Dovetto

Francesca M. Dovetto is professor of Linguistics at the University of Naples “Federico II”. Her research interests include speech-language pathology from both a synchronic as well as diachronic perspective, and in particular the history of deaf re-education, speech disorders in adults and older people, and in the context of neurodegenerative diseases. She has published monographs and numerous research articles on linguistic historiography, clinical linguistics and on the linguistic expression of emotions, feelings, and moods.
