Renato Mannheimer has been working for more than forty years in the field of research and opinion polls. He founded the Institute for Public Opinion Studies (ISPO Research) and is currently a member of the Advisory Board of Eumetra MR. Professor at the Bicocca University of Milan, at the Universities of Genoa, Milan, Naples, Salerno, he has been a visiting professor in numerous European and US universities. He was a collaborator of the «Corriere della Sera» and of the journalistic programs of Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana. Today he collaborates with «Il Giornale», «Il Riformista» and Rete 4. He is part of the scientific committee of the Political Science Notebooks. He has published numerous articles and essays in Italian and foreign scientific journals and fifteen books on political and social issues. He also created the “polls” item for the Treccani Encyclopedia.
