Miguel Ángel Martín Ramos

Miguel Ángel Martín Ramos president of the Cooperation Network of Routes of Emperor Charles V – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe. Head for European Affairs and Brussels Delegation of the European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation, and responsible for cultural, education, youth, equal opportunities, citizenship and social policies in the Delegation of Extremadura region in Brussels. He has coordinated at international level many courses, seminars, congresses, debates, publications, academic research projects, exhibitions, concerts, and the European Carlos V Award. Vice-president of the Jean Monnet Association, and honorary and founding member of the European Institute Jean Monnet in México. Member of the Strategic Group of the Initiative ‘A Soul for Europe’, and the European House for Culture. Former chairman of the EU Platform on Access to Culture, and the Working Group on Language Diversity and Social Inclusion at the EU Platform to Promote Multilingualism. Member of the Scientific Council of Citizens Pro Europe. He is distinguished as European Knight Charles V by the Cultural Centre “Luigi Einaudi” in Italy; and has received the Spanish Cross of the Order of Civil Merit by the Kind of Spain, Felipe VI.
