Francesca Ervas

Francesca Ervas is associate professor of philosophy of language at the Department of education, psychology, philosophy, University of Cagliari. She is scientific responsible for the project PRIN PNRR “Metaphor and epistemic injustice in mental illness”. She was postdoc at the UCL Department of linguistics, London and the Institut Jean Nicod, Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris and recently fellow at the NIAS Institute, Amsterdam. Her research interests focus on metaphor, argumentation, experimental pragmatics, irony and the problem of translation.
