Federica I. Wolf

Federica I. Wolf is a full professor of general Pathology at UniCamillus. She spent most of her career at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore at the Department of Translational Medicine and Surgery, up to 2021. Since 1991, she organized Erasmus exchange activities for medical students. Post-doctoral fellow (CNR-NATO) for 3 years at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA and Department of Biochemistry, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. Visiting Scientist (2016) at the Laboratory of cellular and molecular physiology (LPCM), Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens, France. President of SDRM (International Society for the Development of Research on Magnesium). Co-editor in chief of the journal «Magnesium Research» and section editor for the journal «Nutrients». Her research activity focused on the role of divalent cations in metabolism of normal and transformed cells, she authored more than 250 publications and 10 book chapters.
